Bluebell Opticom at IBC2018 Show
Bluebell Opticom to introduce Two New Platforms, One New IP Platform, A Revolutionary New Field Unit and expansion of the already very popular Silhouette Range capabilities.
At IBC 2018 Bluebell will demonstrate a new 1RU and 3RU Sub-Rack Frame. The BC100i and BC160i have been designed to accept the standard Bluebell Bcxxx card range but offer a much higher degree of monitoring and control. With an intuitive touch-screen front panel and advanced SNMP monitoring, mapping your media network has never been easier. Both rack frames offer an optional Bluetooth connection for even greater more immediate diagnostics.
The BB450i builds on the success of the Bluebell Edgware product range. This is a true “Edge” product. Offering conventional Broadcast I/O on the front panel and sophisticated Network connectivity and management on the rear. This is a true bridge between Broadcast and IP.
The beauty is in the simplicity. The system is managed by a very straight-forward GUI that can be hosted anywhere on the network. Swapping between SMPTE 2022-6/7 and SMPTE 2110 protocol is easy. The BB450i ingests eight channels of audio and one 3G-SDI per node. This give the user the ability to apply software production tools whilst remaining in the IP world or extracting the video and audio for conventional workflow. The large bright display on each node shows its own IP address and also the IP address of the destination equipment.
Our Revolutionary New Field Product will be unveiled at the show. It has very distinctive design features for heat deflection and cable management and an interesting name.. Our world famous ShaxX products, the already very successful Silhouette and some very sophisticated optical management have played their part in putting this all-weather multi-format OB Hub together.
Bluebell’s 4K, UHD and HDR product range has also grown. We now offer more products, more flexibility and more formats that ever before. The BN390 Series is now packed with even more features and offers remote configuration live and in real-time.
Our Combine 8 was very well received at NAB earlier this year. We listened to the comment that our customers made and have incorporated these in the latest design. Dual redundant Power Supplies and diverse routing is standard. A pinch point of any outside broadcast is the combination of several cameras on one cable. This is an area of vulnerability. Hot swappable, power sharing power supplied removes a single point of failure. And diverse routing with self-healing ring technology takes the worry out of combining multiple cameras on a single fibre run. And all is a very small portable package.
This year Bluebell is celebrating winning an Emmy Award for our pioneering development of SDI over Fibre networks. This was presented to us by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences earlier this year. We will also be celebrating 25 years of Bluebell next year.
Come and see us in Hall 10 Stand No.F26.
