This will be L2Tek’s first year exhibiting at IBC, after a decade in the industry building established relationships with customers and suppliers large and small. Featuring prominently on their stand will be Semtech and Cambridge Electronic Industries, two of L2Tek’s longest serving suppliers. Both having their own demos on display.
On the stand L2Tek will be demonstrating a number of their suppliers with SDI and IP video being transmitted through 12G SDI as well as streams adhering to SMPTE 2022 and SMPTE 2110. Furthermore, the demo will also incorporate Precision Timing Protocol (PTP), the master of which being a Stagebox, video over IP solution co-developed with CoreEl. All of the above taking place in a professional broadcast environment.
L2Tek will also be outputting the streams through Semtech ProAV’s Aptovision technology, part of the SDVoE alliance. Taking uncompressed 4k video with zero latency from HDMI 2.0 over 10G ethernet to a quad-display videowall output with further support for HDR, high-fidelity video scaling, windowing and audio downmixing.

The full range includes BNC, Micro BNC and DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors in various configurations to suit any application up to 12G-SDI which require 4K HD and Ultra HD optimised broadcast solutions. Their Micro BNC connectors are designed with the new generation of compact, lightweight broadcast cameras in mind. Diagonal dual port and stacked configurations are available to allow increased packing densities, whilst still meeting the requirements of the standard PCI card applications.
